This class gave me a deeper understanding of PLNs and how social platforms are not only for social purposes, but also provide many opportunities to create my PLN. The diversity and inclusive nature of PLNs also taught me how to better use social media to build PLNs. I learned that social media is very relevant to our lives and we can make our lives better on social media. Also, the professionalism of social media has not only provided me with better opportunities to create PLNs, but has also increased my academic content. The most impressive part of the class was digital identity, which was mentioned by many people as an important point of privacy, and a key point that many internet users often overlook. I also hope to call on more people to pay attention to data privacy and security while creating their own PLNs.
